BIOGRAPHY
Born in the village of Lysi, Famagusta in 1956, and growing up in such a cultural and spiritual center he was enticed to follow the path of art from a very early age.
He got his first drawing and painting lessons by George Matsagides and between 1975 -78 studied graphic design at Stavrakou Art school in Athens under Argyrakis and Papastamoulis.
Between 1979-85 he studied painting and Graphic design at the prestigious Repin Academy in Saint Petersburg.
On his return to Cyprus he taught art in Primary and Secondary Schools and in Adult Evening Classes. For his artistic enrichment he travelled to Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Czechoslovakia, Constantinople, Syria, India, China and other places.
