Art Exhibition ” In Focus ” by Paskalis Anastasi 6 May 2022 7.30p.m.

Dear Friends,

Diachroniki Art for All will be hosting an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Paskalis Anastasi, entitled ‘In Focus’.
The main part of this exhibition will focus on the importance of the individual in a crowded world.
The artist emphasizes the essence of being human in a fast-moving, ever-changing world, where one feels deprived of any identity.
Like the spotlights falling on each actor in a play, the artist concentrates on each person who plays his part in the great theatre of life.

The opening will take place on Friday 6th of May at 7.30pm at Diachroniki Gallery, Arsinois 84 (opposite H&M Ledras), 1010 Nicosia.
Tel: 22680145

Open 10.00 – 19.00 daily

Duration 6-31 May 2022.

With Best Regards,

Chris Kikas

Paskalis Anastasi

As an observer, Paskalis Anastasi depicts people and places of his surroundings and seeks to explore colour, movement and personality of the subjects.

He sees himself as a painter of the plein-air technique, attempting to capture that elusive moment when time appears to stand still. Embracing this concept wholeheartedly, it has become an important feature in his works. The spontaneity and vivacity of this painting technique and the devotion to the close observation of nature and people has been the focus of his art.

It is my beloved Island of Cyprus that holds the key to my passion for landscape, figurative and portrait painting.
